重返二十世紀探討文學中音樂與政治的關係

I research the relationship between music and literature of the twentieth century, focusing particularly on music's intersection with politics. My book, E. M. Forster and Music (Cambridge, 2021), highlights music's crucial role in Forster's writing and the political resonances of his musical engagements.

In relation to this project, I have co-edited, with Emma Sutton, Twenty-First-Century Readings of E. M. Forster's Maurice (Liverpool, 2020).
